Five ComplementaryPathways
Collagen formation and connective-tissue maintenance are not a single event, they involve distinct biological processes that require different nutrients. Each ingredient in this formulation addresses a specific step.
COLLinstant® delivers Type I and Type III hydrolysed bovine collagen peptides, providing approximately 9.5 g of protein per serving.
Enzymatic hydrolysis produces a defined 1,000–2,500 Da molecular-weight profile. The low-molecular-weight range where collagen bioactive peptide research is focused. This process yields characteristic dipeptides including Pro-Hyp and Hyp-Gly, which have been detected in human circulation following oral ingestion.
These collagen-derived peptides have been studied for cell-signalling activity relevant to connective-tissue biology.
Vitamin C is required for the enzymatic hydroxylation of proline and lysine residues; a process essential for the formation of stable collagen triple helices. Without adequate vitamin C, newly synthesised collagen cannot achieve its characteristic structural conformation.
The 300 mg dose reflects the physiological range where intestinal transport via the saturable SVCT1 transporter approaches capacity, supporting substantial bioavailability. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin.
Collagen integrity depends on both synthesis and structural cross-linking, two distinct biochemical processes requiring different mineral cofactors.
Copper is an essential cofactor for lysyl oxidase, an enzyme involved in the formation of stable cross-links within and between collagen fibres. These cross-links are critical to the mechanical strength of connective tissue.
Zinc contributes to normal protein synthesis and normal function of multiple physiological enzymes.
Silicon has a recognised role in collagen formation and the structural integrity of connective tissue, including skin, hair, joints and bone. It also has a relationship with hyaluronic acid production in connective tissue.
Living Silica™ is a patented stabilised orthosilicic acid (OSA), a form of silicon recognised as highly bioavailable.
OSA was selected specifically because it is soluble and bioavailable in the gastrointestinal tract, unlike many common silicon forms such as silicon dioxide.
Clinical research programmes for Living Silica™ have included outcomes relating to skin, hair, connective tissue and bone density.
Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal skin. Within the formulation, it provides complementary nutritional support alongside the nutrients directly involved in collagen formation and connective-tissue support.
"Collagen formation is an enzymatically complex biological process. These five nutrients address structural supply, enzymatic cofactors, cross-linking chemistry, silicon-mediated matrix support and complementary cellular nutrition; as a coherent system, not an ingredient list."
Why TheseIngrediants & Forms
The form of each ingredient matters as much as its dose. Below is the rationale for each selectionL from molecular weight to mineral chelate to silicon source.
Defined low-molecular-weight peptide profile within the range used in collagen bioactive peptide research. Produced through controlled enzymatic hydrolysis for batch consistency and traceability. Clinical research programme includes randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies. Certified Halal and Kosher.
The 300 mg dose was selected within the range where intestinal uptake via the sodium-dependent vitamin C transporter SVCT1 remains active, while recognising that absorption becomes progressively less efficient at higher oral doses.
Amino acid chelate form of zinc. Human research has reported 43.4% higher oral bioavailability compared to zinc gluconate. Well tolerated in human research. Bisglycinate forms are considered gentle on the gastrointestinal tract relative to inorganic zinc salts.
Amino acid chelate form of copper. Selected for bioavailability and tolerability profile consistent with other bisglycinate mineral forms used in this formulation. Copper is provided alongside zinc at a 10:1 ratio.
Orthosilicic acid is the form of silicon found naturally in biological fluids and recognised as the primary bioavailable form in the human gastrointestinal tract. Most dietary silicon is poorly absorbed in standard forms. Stabilised OSA from Living Silica™ (Acacia Gum-OSA) provides silicon in a soluble, bioavailable form. Published clinical research has reported 64% absorption into the bloodstream.
Plant-derived prebiotic fibre used as the encapsulation matrix for the stabilised orthosilicic acid. Acacia gum is a non-synthetic, natural fibre. Its use here is functional; it maintains the stability and bioavailability of the OSA, and contributes a prebiotic component.
Why Powder + Single-Dose Sachets
Structural Stability
Collagen peptides are well suited to dry-form storage. Prolonged storage in water-based formulations can increase potential chemical degradation and create additional microbiological stability requirements.
Formulation Purity
Dry powders can often be formulated with fewer excipients than liquid products, which may require additional ingredients for flavour, texture and shelf stability.
Protected Until You Use It
Each serving is individually sealed to minimise exposure to air, light and moisture — protecting sensitive nutrients such as vitamin C from repeated exposure associated with repeatedly opening a container.

MECHANISTIC RESEARCH · COLLAGEN PEPTIDES
Peptide Bioavailability
Published COLLinstant® research has reported 82% bioavailability at 6 hours and 95% at 12 hours in collagen hydrolysate research. These figures are reported findings from that specific published research and should not be interpreted as absorption figures for the finished product.
Circulating Peptides
Pro-Hyp and Hyp-Gly are collagen-derived bioactive dipeptides characteristic of COLLinstant®. These peptides have been detected in human blood circulation following oral ingestion of collagen hydrolysate, and have been studied for cell-signalling activity in connective-tissue research.
