Why We Chose Powder Single-Dose Sachets
Structural Stability

Collagen peptides are well suited to dry-form storage. Prolonged storage in a water-based formulation can increase the potential for chemical degradation of the peptides and create additional microbiological stability requirements.

Formulation Purity

Dry powders can often be formulated with fewer excipients than liquid products, which may require additional ingredients to support flavour, texture and shelf stability. See our full ingredient list below.

Protected Until You Use It

Each serving is individually sealed to minimise exposure to air, light and moisture. This helps protect sensitive nutrients, including vitamin C, from repeated exposure that can occur every time a jar is opened.

The Science of Absorption and Peptides

How to Use

One sachet daily.

Empty into 200–300ml of any liquid; water, coffee, tea, smoothie or juice. Allow 5–10 seconds for optimal wettability, then stir until dissolved.

Why the 5–10 second pause?

The formulation is designed to disperse without unnecessary solubilising agents. Allowing the powder to hydrate for 5–10 seconds before stirring helps prevent dry powder from becoming trapped in lumps.

Best time:

Morning, with or without food. Take consistently.

How it Works

Five Pathways. One Protocol
01

Structural Substrate 10,000 mg COLLinstant® Collagen Peptides

+

Collagen (Type I & Type III) provides the structural building blocks your body uses to produce new collagen. 9.5 g protein per serving.

Hydrolysis breaks large collagen proteins into smaller collagen peptides, including glycine, proline and hydroxyproline.

It also produces naturally occurring collagen-derived peptides such as Pro-Hyp and Hyp-Gly, which have been detected in human circulation after ingestion and are being studied for their role in cell signalling.

Low-Molecular-Weight Peptide Profile

COLLinstant active® has a defined molecular-weight distribution of 1,000–2,500 Da, placing its peptides within the low-molecular-weight range investigated in collagen peptide research.

Absorption after ingestion

Published research on COLLinstant® collagen hydrolysate reports 82% bioavailability at 6 hours and 95% at 12 hours.

02

Enzymatic Activation 300 mg Vitamin C

+

Your body absorbs vitamin C through specialised transport proteins called SVCT1 transporters. At around 200–300 mg, these transporters begin to approach saturation, and absorption efficiency starts to decline.

Vitamin C is required for normal collagen formation, supporting the biochemical reactions involved in the formation and stabilisation of collagen. This is why we formulate each dose with 300 mg rather than a lower supplemental dose.

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin.

03

Mineral Architecture 10 mg Zinc + 1 mg Copper

+

Building and strengthening the collagen structure.

The finished fibres also need to be organised and strengthened.

Copper activates lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that forms the cross-links giving collagen its structural strength, while zinc supports the enzymes responsible for the normal renewal and remodelling of connective tissue.

The 10:1 ratio helps maintain mineral balance because zinc and copper share common absorption pathways.

04

Matrix Stabilisation 10 mg Silicon (Living Silica™)

+

Supporting the structure surrounding collagen-rich tissues.

Research shows that silicon plays a role in collagen formation and structure, helping support the strength and integrity of skin, hair, joints and bones. Human studies of bioavailable silicon have reported improvements in skin quality, hair thickness and strength, and markers of bone collagen formation.

Studies have also shown that silicon is involved in the production of hyaluronic acid, which helps maintain skin hydration and structure.

Silicon is only useful if it reaches the body in a form that can be absorbed. Living Silica® provides stabilised orthosilicic acid (OSA), a soluble and bioavailable form of silicon.

Unlike many plant-derived silica sources, orthosilicic acid is already in an absorbable molecular form and does not rely on releasing silicon from rigid plant structures during digestion.

05

Cellular Regulation 450 μg Biotin

+

Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and normal hair. Within the formulation, it complements the structural role of collagen and the other nutritional cofactors.

Frequently asked questions

What makes this different from standard collagen?

Standard collagen supplements only provide the raw material. The Collagen Cofactor Complex™ provides the entire biological pathway. Alongside 10,000mg of highly bioavailable COLLinstant® bovine peptides, it contains clinically dosed cofactors—including Vitamin C, Zinc, Copper, Silicon, and Biotin—to actively drive your body's own collagen synthesis and cross-linking.

When will I see results?

Biological restoration takes consistency. Clinical data indicates that visible structural changes in skin hydration and elasticity typically emerge after 8–12 weeks of daily use. Deeper benefits to connective tissue, hair, and nails accrue over longer periods of continuous partnership with your biology.

How should I prepare and take it?

Mix one sachet daily into 200–300ml of any liquid. The peptides are fully heat-stable, meaning you can easily stir it into coffee, hot water, or porridge without degrading the protein structure. We recommend avoiding tannin-heavy beverages (like very strong black tea) taken at the exact same time, as tannins can mildly inhibit the absorption of the mineral cofactors.

What does it taste like?

The Unflavoured protocol is completely neutral. We formulated the high-dose cofactors to dissolve cleanly without the acidic or metallic bite typical of standard vitamins. The Lemon & Mint protocol utilizes natural extracts and Rebaudioside A (a premium, ≥97% pure stevia fraction) for a crisp, sugar-free profile with zero glycaemic load.

What is the dietary and allergen profile?

The formula is completely free from gluten, dairy, soy, nuts, and eggs, and is certified Halal and Kosher. Because we strictly utilize clinically verified COLLinstant® bovine peptides, it is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians. It is designed to support the biology of all adults, regardless of sex.

Is marine collagen better than bovine collagen?

Neither is inherently "better"—both the source and the quality of the collagen matter.

Marine collagen is predominantly Type I collagen, whereas bovine collagen naturally provides both Type I and Type III collagen. Type I is the body's primary structural collagen, providing strength and support to connective tissues. Type III works alongside Type I, contributing to the flexibility, resilience, and elasticity of connective tissues, particularly those that regularly expand and contract, such as blood vessels and the gastrointestinal tract. Together, they work as complementary components of the body's collagen framework.

Just as importantly, collagen should be properly hydrolyzed into low molecular weight peptides to support efficient absorption. That's why Vita Katalyst uses COLLinstant®, a clinically studied hydrolyzed bovine collagen peptide. In separate human clinical studies, COLLinstant® has demonstrated benefits for skin health, including hydration, elasticity, and wrinkle appearance, and joint health, including comfort and mobility.

Is it safe to take alongside medication or during pregnancy?

There are no known significant interactions with other standard supplements (such as Omega-3 or Vitamin D). However, as with any potent nutritional protocol, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking prescription medication, please consult your healthcare professional before beginning use.

Is this halal and/or koshar collagen?

Yes, our COLLinstant® bovine collagen raw material is certified Halal and Kosher, manufactured under strict EU GMP standards.

How does the subscription work?

Our subscription ensures you never break your protocol. You receive locked-in preferred pricing and complete flexibility. You can pause, skip a delivery, or cancel entirely at any time with zero friction through your secure customer portal here.

Can men take Vita Katalyst collagen?

Yes. Vita Katalyst collagen is suitable for men as part of a daily nutrition routine.

Men naturally tend to have thicker skin and higher baseline collagen density than women, but collagen still declines gradually with age. Men may also place higher mechanical load on joints, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue through training, sport, physical work and everyday movement.

Vita Katalyst provides hydrolysed, low-molecular-weight collagen peptides — a source of amino acids such as glycine, proline and hydroxyproline, which the body uses as building blocks for collagen-rich tissues including skin, tendons, ligaments and joints.

For men, collagen is especially relevant not for building muscle mass, but for supporting the connective tissues that help the body move well, including tendons, ligaments, joints and skin structure, particularly where regular training, sport or physical work places repeated stress on the body.
